Meet
Core Banking Developer
Adalarasu is a developer in the core banking team at ODS, where he designs and develops core banking solutions. Before joining ODS, he worked as a technical consultant at Temenos, EY and Cognizant, focusing on the T24 core-banking sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He has a degree in electronic science from C. Abdul Hakeem College and a master’s degree in computer programming from Anna University in India.
In his free time, Adalarasu likes traveling and watching cricket.
Back-End Engineer
Julieta is a back-end engineer in the development team at ODS. Before joining ODS, she worked as a software developer at GlobalLogic in Buenos Aires.
She studied systems engineering at the National Technological University and has a degree in economics from the National University of La Plata, both in Argentina.
In her free time, Julieta likes reading and traveling.
Wealth Technical Lead
Luisina is a technical lead in the wealth team at ODS. Before joining ODS, she worked as senior technology consultant at KPMG, as an IT team leader at Farmacity and as a project leader at Prisma Medios de Pago.
She studied systems engineering at the National Technological University in Argentina and has a master’s degree in product management and digital product design from the IEBS Business School. She is also a certified Scrum Master and a certified Product Owner.
In her free time, Luisina likes doing outdoor activities, spending time with friends and traveling the world.
Core Banking Risk and Compliance Specialist
Gian is a core banking risk and compliance specialist in the credit risk department at ODS, leading the configuration of the decision engine relating to business needs. Before joining ODS, he worked as a consultant on several projects for companies such as Movistar, Caixabank, Wisin, BBVA and Banco Sabadell.
He studied systems engineering at the National Experimental University of the Armed Forces in Venezuela, before continuing his studies at the Toronto College of Technology in Canada.
In his free time, Gian likes watching and playing sport, particularly soccer.
Data Migration Product Manager
Norka is a data migration product manager in the technology and operations team at ODS. Before joining ODS, she was a manager at Accenture, overseeing several international projects in the U.S., Mexico and Thailand, among others.
She studied systems engineering at the Santiago Mariño Polytechnic University of Caracas in Venezuela.
In her free time, Norka likes creative baking and traveling. She has also practiced martial arts for several years and has competed, refereed and judged at national and international kung fu competitions.
DevOps Architect
Dagmawi is a DevOps architect in the T24 architecture and operations team at ODS. Before joining ODS, he worked as a lead consultant at Temenos Partners, focusing on ICT infrastructure, digitalization and core-banking solution implementations at many financial institutions.
He has a degree in computer science from Addis Adaba University in Ethiopia and has completed several post-graduate programs on project management.
In his free time, Dagmawi likes watching and practicing soccer and athletics, traveling, listening to music and going to live performances.
Frontend Team Lead
Carlos is a software enthusiast currently working as a senior software developer.
Before joining ODS he was leading front-end teams in other startups. He is passionate about building robotics and keyboards, automate and optimice stuff.
If he is not in his workshop you can find him surfing around the world or on an express surf & food trip to the north sore.
Android Engineer
Junjie is an Android engineer in the Android development team at ODS, where he puts his knowledge and expertise in the area into practice. Before joining ODS, he worked as a website and software developer at Everis and at Vipera.
He studied computer engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has done several programs on Android application development.
In his free time, Junjie likes playing sport and chilling out with friends.
Product Owner
David joined Open Digital Services as a business analyst in digital processes after working in digital transformation within the Santander Group.
He has a degree in industrial engineering, specialising in electronics, from Carlos III University. During his studies, he spent a year in Canada.
David enjoys seasonal sports like skiing and surfing. He also enjoys playing golf, watching movies and travelling to new places to experience and learn about different cultures.
Data Scientist
Carmen is a data scientist in the data science team at ODS, where she is responsible for reporting on the Zinia project. Before joining ODS, she worked as a data scientist at Banco Santander.
She has a degree in mathematical engineering, mathematics and statistics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's degree in big data and data science from the U-tad University Center of Technology and Digital Art.
In her free time, Carmen likes traveling, cooking and weightlifting.
CEO of Open Digital Services
Luis is the CEO of ODS and Global Chief Technology & Operations Officer of DCB. He was formerly VP of Technology and Operations at Santander Brazil, where he led the bank’s digital transformation.
With nearly 30 years of experience in retail banking business and technology, Luis joined Santander Brasil in 2013 and during his 8 years in retail he was instrumental in transforming the business, having had key positions in CRM, Strategy, Commercial Intelligence and Digital. In 2021 Luis took the role of CIO Santander Brasil and CEO of F1RST Digital Services, latter on becoming VP of Technology & Operations.
He is a computer engineer graduated at Unicamp, has a specialization in management from FGV, and a master in management of technology from MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Head of Software Engineering, Data Management and AI
David is the Head of Software Engineering, Data Management and AI at ODS. He joined ODS after a period abroad in the UK, where he worked as a contractor providing services relating to big data technology for different companies. Prior to that, he managed a start-up that created a platform for managing social network accounts and worked on projects involving augmented reality. Throughout his career, he has led teams for online companies operating in the travel sector.
He has a degree in computer science from the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
In his free time, David likes scuba diving, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Head of AI Tech
Javier is the Head of AI Tech at ODS, after previously serving as Head of Architecture and IT Operations. Prior to ODS, he worked at AWS in Madrid as a Solutions Architect and Technical Account Manager, and in Dublin as a Cloud Support Manager and Engineer. Earlier in his career, Javier managed a start-up and commissioned a cloud-service provider. He began his professional journey as a systems integrator, where he led technical project management and business development.
He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Murcia and an MBA from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Javier is married and has a child and a dog. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, reading, and traveling.
Head of Digital Channels & Core Banking
Karen is the Head of Digital Channels and Core Banking at ODS. She was previously a CRM Global Unit Manager at ISBAN, working for the Santander Group. Prior to that, she was a manager at Soluziona, a multinational company operating in the IT and technology consultancy sector.
She has a science degree in mathematics from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
In her free time, Karen likes playing sport and spending time with her family.
Chief Information Security Officer
Rubén is the Head of Information Security at ODS, after previously being the Chief Information Security Officer at Openbank, where he formed part of the team responsible for its cloud migration. He previously led the solutions architecture team for enterprise accounts at Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, he held several managerial positions in the IT area at El Corte Inglés.
He has a degree in computer science from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and a master's degree in project management and service management.
Rubén is father to three children and enjoys spending his free time with his family.
Head of Assisted Channels
Susana is the head of assisted channels at ODS. Before joining ODS, she formed part of the T&O management team at Banco Santander, overseeing the innovation team in charge of new strategic projects for assisted channels.
She began her banking career at Abbey National in the UK and subsequently joined the Santander UK branch transformation team. Susana was previously the branch global unit manager at ISBAN, where she was responsible for new IT solutions and for implementing the Santander Group’s strategy across branches, including at Alliance & Leicester and Bradford & Bingley in the UK, SEB in Germany, Sovereign in the U.S. and at Banesto in Spain. She was also chosen to be part of the IIF Future Leaders Program, participating at conferences in Madrid and Chicago.
She studied business and IT management at the University of Vigo and at Kingston University in the UK.
In her free time, Susana likes listening to music, eating good food with friends and watching movies and sport, mainly motor sports.
Chief Operating Officer
Roberto is the Chief Operating Officer at ODS. He previously was the Deputy Chief T&O Officer at ODS, where he oversaw the entire IT and operations value chain, including strategic program management, budget control, vendor and resource management, and business demand.
Previously, he served as Director of Technology Transformation at Bankinter and as Global Manager of Business Processes at the Santander Group, where he led international projects across the UK, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and Chile. He also worked as an IT consultant at Deloitte and Everis.
Roberto studied Telecommunications Engineering and Industrial Electronics at the University of the Basque Country. He is married and has two sons. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to his hometown in La Rioja!
